BVP, Pune offers three different undergraduate medical programs which are MBBS course, Bachelor of Clinical Optometry (B. Optom.), Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (B.A.S.L.P.). BVP, Pune also offers various doctoral programs and postgraduate medical programs in different disciplines. There are 9 different diploma medical courses offered as well.

MBBS Admission Procedure

The MBBS admission process starts in March 2019, and lasts till June, 2019. Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College Pune has 150 seats for MBBS undergraduate programme. The student seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, BHMS, and BAMS should appear in the All India Common Entrance Test, CET 2019. There is no negative marking in CET entrance test. The test centres are located in various cities like Indore, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Baroda, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Lucknow, and Jaipur.

Eligibility for MBBS courses:

The student seeking admission in MBBS course should have attained 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2018. The candidate is required to have cleared the 12th class with at least 50% aggregate score in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English. For SC and ST candidates, the aggregate score should be at least 40% in all the four subjects. The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
15% of the total seats are reserved for foreign/NRI/PIO/OCI/management merit-based students in BVP, Pune.

PG medical Admission procedure

The Medical Counseling Committee for admission to Postgraduate medical course seats in BVP, Pune. The MCC allows admission to MD, MS, and PG diploma seats in Bharti Vidyapeeth medical college. The admission is on the merit basis, based on the performance in NEET PG. The admission cycle lasts from March to June 2019. The application form is available online on BVP’s Pune website. While filling the form, the aspirants are required to mention their choice of college with specialization. MCC shortlists the candidates based on merit and allots PG medical seats in BVP, Pune based on the ranking of the candidate and availability of seats.

Eligibility criteria for admission to PG medical course in BVP Pune

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.

• The medical career aspirant must have completed a rotatory internship of 12 months on or before 31st March 2019.

• The candidates must have secured a minimum 50 percentile cut off for general category and a minimum of 40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC category.

During counselling, the candidates need to carry all original documents along with their photocopies as asked.
