KCET stands for Karnataka Common Entrance Test. KCET Exam Pattern:
KCET is an offline examination (Pen & paper based exam). The exam contains 240 objective questions. Physics & Chemistry are the compulsory subjects for the KCET. The subjects Biology & Mathematics are optional in nature. Each correct answer carries 1 mark. The KCET doesn’t deduct any marks for the incorrect answers. There is no system of negative marks in KCET.
The KCET 2018 will be conducted for 2 consecutive days in 4 different sessions. The first day is designated to Biology & Mathematics whereas the second day is allotted to Physics & Chemistry. The duration of each session (Each Paper) is 80 minutes. The KCET 2018 is scheduled to devote the first 10 minutes for the instructional preparations. The subsequent 70 minutes are scheduled for the test.
The question papers involve 16 different versions. There is no choice for the candidates in terms of questions. Each candidate must attempt all the questions to ensure maximum scores & optimum result.
The candidates can fill all the requisite details for the first 10 minutes. KEA holds the rights to allot the seats to the candidates based on the acceptance of the application & availability.
