MBBS Admission Process:

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission in KS Hegde Medical Academy

• It is mandatory for the candidate to qualify in NEET UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

• The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on or before 31 December of the Year of MBBS Admission.

• The candidates should have completed their 12th standard with 50% minimum marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with English as one of the subjects.

• The candidates belonging to OBC / SC / ST category must obtain 40% minimum marks.

Eligibility Criteria for NRI, Foreign Nationals and People of Indian Origin:

• It is mandatory for the candidate to qualify in NEET UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

• The candidates should furnish the appropriate documents to prove their NRI / Foreign status.

• The candidates should furnish the Eligibility Certificate obtained from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) to pursue Medical Education in Karnataka.

• The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on or before 31 Dec of the Year of MBBS Admission.

• The candidates should have passed 12th std. with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subjects.

MBBS Seat Selection Process in KS Hegde Medical Academy

MBBS Seat Allotment for KS Hegde Medical Academy Mangalore depends upon the NEET rank (UG). The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for MBBS admission in KS Hegde Medical Academy Mangalore at All India level and the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts MBBS counselling for State quota seats.
