The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test i.e. NEET PG 2021 for PG medical admissions in various medical colleges in India stands postponed in view of the present situation of the pandemic and taking into account the safety and well-being of the students. The Health Ministry has decided that the NEET PG 2021 exam which was scheduled to be held on 18th Apr 2021 shall be postponed till further notifications.
The next date of NEET PG 2021 exam would be announced after reviewing the situation of the pandemic.The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) is the single qualifying test for medical admissions for students who wish to study various PG courses like Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and PG Diploma courses, in government or private medical colleges in the country. NEET PG is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) and the seat allotment for the same is conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The postponement of the NEET PG 2021 exam is a relief for all those candidates who had opposed the exam amidst the second wave of the pandemic.
