Free Exit for the first round of counselling means if a candidate is allotted a seat in the first round of counselling but does not report or join the allotted college then he/she will not be penalized and is eligible for subsequent rounds.

Candidates must report at the allotted medical college with the following documents for completion of PG medical admission process:

  • 10th Certificate for Proof of Date of Birth
  • 12th Mark Sheet
  • NEET PG Score Card
  • MBBS Degree Certificate (Provisional/Permanent)
  • Internship Completion Certificate
  • MCI/State Medical Council Registration Certificate
  • Reserve Category Certificate, if applicable
  • Sub-Category Certificate, if applicable
  • Differently abled (PH) Certificate issued by the Special Medical Board constituted by the Director of General Medical Health & Family Welfare, Uttarakhand, if applicable
  • Domicile Certificate for Uttarakhand candidates
  • Valid ID Proof (Voter ID/Aadhar Card/Passport/Driving License etc)
  • NOC from Director of General Medical Health & Family Welfare Uttarakhand or Competent Authority for regular PMHS Uttarakhand Candidate
  • NOC from Competent Authority for candidates serving under Bond
  • Printed Allotment Letter
  • Tuition Fee Receipt issued by the Counselling Board
  • Remaining Fee Amount (hostel/mess etc) in the form of DD

The following candidates are eligible for NEET PG Uttarakhand State Second Round of Counselling:

  • New eligible candidates who wish to participate in the second round
  • Candidates who participated in the first round and opted for Government medical colleges only but now want to opt for private medical colleges also (such candidates will have to deposit the security amount of  Rs 200000. The security deposit paid in the first round will be refunded separately)
  • Already registered candidates who have not been allotted PG medical seat in the first round
  • All Candidates who have taken admission against seat allotted in the first round are eligible for up-gradation in the second round
  • Candidates who have not taken admission against the first round of allotment or have withdrawn after taking admission

Candidates who fail to register in the first round of PG medical counselling can participate in the second round of counselling after registration and payment of required fee.

Candidates have to fill fresh choices in the second round of counselling as the choices filled in the first round will not be considered.

If a candidate who has been admitted in the college allotted in the first round and given willingness for upgradation for second round does not get new allotment then the candidate will retain the seat allotted in the first round.

Candidate if wants to quit the medical college allotted in the first round of counselling on or before the second round has to inform the counselling board through the principal concerned that he/she has vacated the seat allotted to him/her in the first round.  Doing so, the candidate will be entitled to get refund of the tuition fees deposited by him/her after deduction of Rs. 6000 (as administrative charges).

Candidate if vacates the seat allotted in the first round after second round of counselling and such vacated seat is filled by another candidate and no seat remains vacant then the candidate will get refund of the tuition fees deposited by him/her after deduction of Rs. 6000 (as administrative charges).

The following candidates are eligible for mop up round of centralized NEET PG counselling in Uttarakhand:

  • Candidates who are registered in previous rounds but not been allotted any PG medical seat
  • Candidates who have withdrawn their admission against first round of allotment within specified time schedule
  • Candidates who were allotted seat in second round but not taken admission are eligible by forfeiting the security amount
  • Candidates who are registering for the first time

  • Candidates who are already admitted to PG medical course through first and second round of NEET PG Uttarakhand State Centralized Counselling
  • Candidates who have taken admission and retained their seats under AIQ seats/Deemed Universities after second round of MCC counselling

All eligible candidates registered for Mop up round of counselling have to download “Reporting & Document Verification Form for Mop up Round” and bring it along with all required original documents given below on the date specified for mop up round.

Candidates who have already deposited security amount in previous round and if deposited amount is not forfeited then such candidates need not deposit the security amount again for mop up round.

Candidate has to report in person for spot admission in mop up Round on the notified date and time. No representative will be allowed to participate in the mop up round of counselling under any circumstances.

Candidates who will not report in person for mop up round of counselling on the notified date will not be eligible for seat allotment in the mop up round. However, such candidates will be considered in the waiting list to be forwarded to the medical colleges for filling any stray vacancy arising after mop up round.

The West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) is the authorized body to conduct PG medical counselling for State quota and Management/NRI quota seats in the State of West Bengal.

  • Candidates must have passed MBBS from the State of West Bengal

  • Candidate must have registered with MCI/State Medical Council

Candidates who have done their medical graduation from foreign countries must have permanent registration with State medical council/Medical Council of India. Such candidates have to submit relevant document regarding their Nationality.

The following candidates are eligible to claim NRI quota seats:

  • Candidate who is an NRI
              OR
  • Candidate who is sponsored by an NRI provided the sponsorer should be nearest relative of the candidate.  Such person should be NRI and should be residing abroad.  Such person should have looked after the candidate as a guardian and should possess evidence to that effect.
 Definition of nearest relation is as follows:

  1. Real brother and sister of father i.e. Real uncle and Real aunt
  2. Real brother and sister of mother i.e. Real maternal uncle and Real maternal  aunt
  3. Father and mother of father i.e. grandfather and grandmother
  4. Father and mother of mother i.e. maternal grandfather and maternal grandmother
  5. First degree-paternal and maternal cousins
